Learn more about the music and enhance your concert experience with retired MSO Principal Bassoonist Stephen Basson. All season, Stephen will teach you about great 17th- to 20th-century composers, their works both in the opera house and concert hall, and how those works influenced the writing of subsequent composers.

There are no prerequisites to attend the classes except your own interest and you do not need to play an instrument or be a musician to enjoy these evenings—All you need is a love of music and the curiosity to learn more!

A fee is required to hold your spot in class. All proceeds after expenses benefit the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

Each class will be held at the Villa Terrace Decorative Art Museum and will include desserts, coffee and tea.

* There is no Behind the Notes or Friday Talkbacks for specials, unless otherwise specified.
