Mary Terranova

Second Violin

Violinist Mary Terranova is a native of Los Angeles and received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from California Institute of the Arts, with further study at the University of Michigan.

Prior to joining the MSO, she was a private violin instructor, and a freelance artist in the Los Angeles area, frequently performing on the Monday Evening Concerts Series at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She was also a member of the Grant Park Symphony in Chicago. She has participated in the Holland Music Festival and the Colorado Music Festival in Boulder, Colorado. Since 1995, she has been a member of the MSO String Family Ensemble, performing for kindergarteners as part of the ACE Program.

Mary resides in Glendale with husband, Bruce, and daughter, Ariel.
