Norma has been a member of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra since 1972. She soloed with Green Bay Symphony in 1969 and won the MSO Young Artist Competition in 1970.
Norma received her bachelor’s degree of music in viola from the Wisconsin College – Conservatory in 1975, and also studied chamber music at Yale Summer Sessions. Norma has taught viola privately and in the Milwaukee Public Schools, and currently volunteers her talent for religious services and retirement community events. She also enjoys tutoring grade schoolers in math and language arts at a community center.
Dedicated to citizen-science, especially in the bird world, she was instrumental in helping the Village of Fox Point become a Bird City Wisconsin.
