CONCERT DETAILS
Join the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra for our first ever Sensory Friendly concert experience!
Sensory-friendly concerts are designed for people of any age on the autism spectrum or with a sensory sensitivity and their families. We’ll enjoy the ultimate spring break get-away – through music! Visit Hollywood with “Hedwig’s Theme” from Harry Potter, get a taste of New Orleans with the International Dixieland Jamboree, dance along to the Conga del Fuego Nuevo in Mexico, experience Orlando (and Arendelle) with Selections from Frozen, and more!
Sensory Friendly Concert Modifications:
- Dimmed house lights remain on during performance
- On stage hosts will prepare and guide audience through concert
- Flexible seating and relaxed house rules
- Available sensory kits and noise-reduction headphones
- Free activity bags including fidgets
- Designated quiet areas
- Family-friendly food concessions
- Trained MSO Ambassadors on site to assist patrons
- Flexible refund policy if patrons are unable to attend
Seating for family concerts is general admission and is on a first come, first served basis.

Pre-Concert Exploration
Patrons are encouraged to arrive early and explore the Bradley Symphony Center! Beginning one hour prior to the performance, families are invited to pick up Travel Bags that will include coloring sheets and crayons, a fidget toy, and a Concert Passport. Trained MSO Ambassadors will be located around the building to answer questions, assist patrons, and give passport stamps! Resonance Food Co. will also offer family friendly snacks and beverages for sale.
Food & Beverage Service
Food and beverage selections by Resonance Food Co. will be available in the Atrium and Gallery one hour before each performance.
