CONCERT DETAILS

Grammy ® Award-winning violinist Augustin Hadelich is “in touch with the sunny side of a violin” (Washington Post), a quality that suits him well in Prokofiev’s warm and lyrical (though demanding) Second Violin Concerto. An evil sorcerer has turned Princess Odette into a bird in Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake; here the MSO plays a collection of the cherished ballet’s most popular scenes.
