Welcome to Bravo, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s superfans. Bravo is a donor membership program designed specifically for Milwaukeeans, ages 21 and up, with a love for music and the arts, who are looking for one-of-a-kind cultural opportunities and a way to boost their impact. We share a passion for music, Milwaukee, and working with people committed to making a difference in our city.

We’re a collective – each year we support the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s Annual Fund, volunteer at MSO events, and act as ambassadors for this Milwaukee cultural cornerstone. It’s no ordinary social club. As a part of Bravo, we support one of Milwaukee’s premiere cultural organizations.

FRANK ALMOND PLAYS BRUCH | Saturday, October 16, 2021

Frank Almond returns with one of the most legendary and beloved works for violin: Bruch’s Violin Concerto. Join Bravo members before the epic concert for a Score to Stage Happy Hour at the Bradley Symphony Center and learn more about Bruch’s masterwork. Then enjoy the mastery of Frank Almond as he returns to the MSO for this dramatic performance.

FOUNTAINS OF ROME | Saturday, November 13, 2021

Violinist Karen Goymo returns to the MSO to perform Shostakovich’s expressive and demonic First Violin Concerto. Former MSO Associate Conductor William Eddins returns to lead the orchestra through this vivid journey, which balances Shostakovich’s fire with a pastoral stroll through Respighi’s Rome. Post-concert, join Bravo members for an exclusive meet and greet with Karen Goymo.

STAGE TO SCREEN | Saturday, January 22, 2022

Grammy Award-winning and MSO favorite Augustin Hadelich is back to celebrate the 1930s with Britten’s Violin Concerto. Join Bravo members at the St. Kate Arts Hotel for a pre-concert Score to Stage happy hour and learn about the evening’s program, which also features masterworks by Korngold, Shostakovich and Hindemith – all written in the 1930s – the decade the Warner was built.

*In the interest of keeping everyone safe during this time, the pre-concert Bravo event on January 22nd at Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel has been cancelled. The performance of Stage to Screen at the Bradley Symphony Center will go on as planned.

PEER GYNT | Saturday, March 26, 2022

This is no Peer Gynt you’ve experienced before! In this semi-staged adaptation, conductor Ken-David Masur and director Bill Barclay reunite Grieg’s unforgettable music with a fantastical modern take on Ibsen’s drama. Costumed actors, a playful puppet, props, and the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus create an expansive staged spectacle. Post-concert, Bravo members head backstage for an exclusive meet and greet with Music Director, Ken-David Masur.

BRAHMS’ SECOND PIANO CONCERTO | Saturday, May 14, 2022

Conductor Ruth Reinhardt makes her MSO debut on this program, which features pianist Alessio Bax playing Brahms’ blockbuster Second Piano Concerto and Dvorak’s pastoral Fifth Symphony. Join Bravo members at the St. Kate Arts Hotel for a pre-concert Score to Stage Happy Hour post-concert meet and greet with pianist Alessio Bax.

ODE TO JOY: BEETHOVEN’S NINTH | Saturday, June 18, 2022

The MSO holds nothing back in this stunning season finale. Experience the full sonic power of the MSO and Milwaukee Symphony Chorus as the perform Beethoven’s iconic Symphony No. 9. Bursting with joy and celebration, this fantastic season closer celebrates our triumphant move into the Bradley Symphony Center. Pre-concert, enjoy a Score to Stage happy hour with Milwaukee Symphony Chorus director Cheryl Frazes Hill.
