Nationally recognized educator and conductor Randal Swiggum leads the Milwaukee Symphony’s annual Teen Choral Partners project. Swiggum employs his expertise in Comprehensive Musicianship through Performance to curate the concert experience specifically for middle and high school audiences. In addition, each student receives his or her own Teen Guide specifically created for this concert and prepared by the conductor himself.

Inspired by the oratorios of Bach and Handel, Mendelssohn’s Elijah is a lush and dramatic musical telling of the Biblical prophet’s story. Join the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and our 2019 Teen Choral Partners as they perform excerpts from this Romantic Era masterpiece.
