To better serve our audience members and ensure that you continue to get the most out of your ticketing experience, we’ve recently made some changes to our E-ticketing policies and procedures. In order to prevent ticket resellers from artificially inflating the value of our tickets on secondary resale websites, we’ve made adjustments to the ways our E-tickets are delivered to your inbox and displayed on your mobile device. These modifications will not impact your concertgoing experience, but they will make your use of MSO digital tickets easier and more secure than ever before.
Below, please find additional details and tips. You can also always reach the MSO Box Office with questions by calling 414-291-7605 or emailing tickets@mso.org.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why are MSO E-tickets changing? To protect our ticketholders and to help limit MSO tickets from appearing on secondary market websites, the MSO is making updates to our E-ticketing policies and procedures.
What’s changing? Starting January 17, all E-tickets ordered through the MSO Box Office or mso.org will only be available starting approximately 3-4 days prior to each performance and will be automatically emailed to you, separate from your order confirmation, at that time. Orders placed within 3 days of the performance will automatically be emailed shortly after your order confirmation is sent. All upcoming concert tickets can also be accessed directly in your browser within 3 days before the performance through the My Account page at www.mso.org/account/.* PDFs of concert tickets will no longer be available — instead, your tickets will be directly embedded in your email. Patrons will still be able to add tickets to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
*Requires mso.org account
How can I troubleshoot? Make sure to display these tickets on your phones, with your ticketing email open upon arrival — please note that printing your tickets on paper from your inbox does not work. Instead, if the email sent to you isn’t rendering properly on your device, please click the “View in your browser” link included below the performance date and time.
How can I share my tickets with others? The best way to share individual tickets with fellow concertgoers is to add tickets to your device’s Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and to send the tickets from there. You may also copy and paste the URL from the “View in your browser” link to send to friends and family via text message or email. You may also forward the email, but keep in mind forwarded emails on certain platforms may appear distorted.
What if I have PDF E-tickets from an old order? All prior E-tickets sent before January 17 will still be honored, without issue. All prior E-tickets ticketholders will receive emailed tickets using the new template. Both sets of tickets will work.
If I’m a subscriber, when will my tickets arrive? What happens with exchanges? All concert tickets in your subscription package will be sent individually approximately 3-4 days before each performance. Tickets can be exchanged any time, and all exchanges will also be sent individually approximately 3-4 days before each performance. Details on your current season tickets can be found by logging into the My Account page at www.mso.org/account/.
Can I resell my tickets or purchase them from other vendors? Resellers may mark up ticket prices by more than double. To ensure accurate prices, only buy your tickets online at mso.org, by calling the MSO Box Office at 414-291-7605, or visiting us in person at the Bradley Symphony Center.
Tickets purchased through any other source may not be valid.
